Is that a tear?

Ah, digital-age parenting.

The best video prank of the summer was when Nancy took a video of Fritzi reclining under an oak tree and then used the Hentai filter and Deep Fakes to turn it into a Gilchrist Anime. That was hilarious! I also like the one where she photoshopped FIVE ROCKS and a snowsuit into the last panel.

I’ll take that as a “Yes”

I do think that, somewhere between the ages of 5-1/2 and 8, Dennis Mitchell was forced to join the witness protection program as a girl living with “her” aunt.

So…. today’s question to me is… how do we interpret Aunt Fritzi in the last panel? It seems there are two basic options:

1. She is shedding a tear because she is still frustrated/angry about the Internet video prank.

2. She is shedding a tear because she is feeling extremely sentimental and sad about Nancy being back in school despite her words.

I am feeling #2 is the best fit here.

Thel is missing the little melonheads. Oh, wait.
