DVR: the greatest invention ever! My wife and I enjoy dinner on the porch away from the TV and phones. We “tape” (shows you how old we are) Jeopardy and then watch it after dinner. We fast forward through the commercials – we call it “trash compacting” – and it is particularly enjoyable to watch as politician’s faces flash by: seen but not heard.
