I’m confused. I was wondering who the freckle-faced kid was in P1. The kid who filmed the hilarious crosswalk painting scene? But then noticed he’s wearing the same shirt as Gil. Is that supposed to be Steve Boone? Did he get 15 years younger all of a sudden?
P1 – Gil, if you are trying to project your voice using your hand, try putting it next to your mouth. It doesn’t do much good by your temple.
P2- What does Gil’s shirt say? MILFOD FAL…?
P3 – Ouch, looks like Gil broke his ankle and possibly his other leg. Hey, #11! Yeah, you with the really short arm! Pay attention, you can look at the butterflies later!
There hasn’t been outstanding line play since Big Bad John Pascoe and the Troys, Omari & Costello. Rick Soto best not quit his singing gigs. Sam Finn will make the All Valley Conference team and several All State teams. Wake Forest has sent him a questionnaire. CJ was right yesterday, Boonie is smiling in P1 cause he gets to work with Sam the road grader.
Totally confused. Is a game going on? Is this a scrimmage? And how can Gil yell “Punt team!” if the players don’t even know who’s hiking the ball? Maybe Gil just yells “Punt team!” and sees who shows up.
P1, Gil may be calling for the punt team but from his gesture he’s thinking, “Ah WTF do I bother?”
P2, Gil gets right to the basics with this team. 2nd in The Valley will be a challenge with this bunch.
P3, Not a good problem to have if your punter can’t catch the ball. I read a story a couple of years ago about a couple of high school teams that just refuse to punt ever. Of course, they were good enough to outscore just about everybody they played so even if they gave the ball up deep in their own territory, they’d just go right down the field and score.
