In some cultures, “too close” is the norm, completely acceptable. Not for me, though. In some cases, you’re “too close” if I can still hear you….

This is actually how the wealthy behave; stand too close and talk too loud. (Wish I could find the study about it, but it seems to have fallen off the radar).

Technically that’s not “Standing” too close.

The concept of “personal space” differs in different cultures. So maybe this is an expression of the Cultural Tradition of “Too Close” and Rat should be more tolerant.

Personally, I’d give the guy a big, hard Cold Shoulder where it would hurt the most….
