Translation for certain Western Pennsylvanians: rubber band = gum band. (On a documentary on regional American dialects the interviewer asked a Pittsburgher if he’d ever heard another word for those stretchy things that can hold a bunch of envelopes together, and the man replied “I think some people call them rubber bands.”)

I feel a Bucky-ism coming on :-)

So rubber bands may be the only thing Satchel does not eat!

Many cats love to chew rubber bands, but don’t let them! Very dangerous for them and can lead to a costly surgery.

You’ll shoot your eye out ;)

For me, gum bands are what I use to keep my bubble gums together.

Hey Rob, Instead of calling a pet psychologist how about you stop buying rubber bands.
