It has probably been pointed out before by someone else, so I will put it this way: I also think that one of the best stylistic choices about this entire strip is how Marigold (as far as I have ever seen) does not use any contractions when speaking. Nary a “you’re” or an “I’m” or a “won’t” in sight. It is very subtle but effective.

I love how the last panel has no dialogue; Dana lets the silly image speak for itself.
Also, that kind of coloration gives me Pink Elephants on Parade flashbacks.

Can’t wait to see her coloration for Christmas.

All that work choosing a color gone to waste. Well, it can also be a dilemma to decide if polka dots are tackier than diagonal stripes.

Purple unicorn with green spots? That’s certainly … unique.

Next time try horizontal Zebra stripes in International Orange and Fire Engine Green.
They could spot you from the space station then.

Marigold should’ve made her coloration look like a bunch of leaves. She’d be covered in the beauty.

One of my favorite strips on a per-day basis. I recall when it was initially being gloated on Furaffinity.

Marigold is a walking fashion statement.

This strip reminds me of the ‘horse of a different color’ in The Wizard of Oz.

Good a reason as any to get some use out of the air brush equipment.
