Bizarre.

There is a Kliban cartoon that shows a rabbit and a pile of “Rabbit Pellets” with a little sign stuck in them with the word “Raisins.” The cartoon is captioned “Marketing.” One of those Klibans from Playboy.

Loaf of gum reminds me of the pink cigar bubble gum I used to buy as a child. My favorite was the banana flavored one.

I lived in a South American country for ten years, and always bought eggs in a plastic bag. Most people only bought 1 or 2 at a time. It took me a while to learn to ask for 5 or 10, since they had no idea whatsoever why I would want 12.

Pickle juice box would work in Russia where they sell something like pickle juice known as “kvas” … You buy it by the glass from a guy who operates a street cart. I don’t know if they still use the same glass for everyone, as they did some 30 years ago…

Ham pail may not be available, but you can get Cured Naval (salt) Beef in a pail here in Canada, it is a Newfie thing.

Bag of eggs. True actually, one of the food chains gets eggs in bags for breakfast. Fresh cracked is special order. Stopped going there after getting pot roast on a plate of oil and hearing on the news two seniors at two different locations died of food poisoning.
