Back in the day before the internet my Mom and Dad both wanted to do the crossword puzzle in the paper. One or the other was always angry that the puzzle was done before they got to it. Solution: tracing paper.
My dad always did crossword puzzles in ink.
I don’t do either one, to me Sudoku is stupid; I’d rather do a crostics/anacrostics. That’s why there is variety available.
