From now on, if Kavanaugh steals Merrick Garland’s seat on the Supreme Court, appointed by a “president” who cheated with voter suppression and Russian meddling to steal a presidency that he actually LOST by three million votes, when women — and the men who support women’s equality and dignity — hear the national anthem, instead of taking a knee, they should place their hands over their mouths.

    It’s no longer left/right, conservative/liberal or even Democrat/Republican. It’s tyranny versus freedom.

The senate is saying, ‘The witness was compelling and believable, but didn’t fit in with our agenda; see ya’ around, babe’.

Here in KC, it is raining cats and dogs. I am reminded of the Bob Dylan quote, “Hard rain is gonna fall.” If the GOP didn’t like the protests before, look out. It isn’t going to stop, the protests aren’t going anywhere. $2 million was raised for Susan Collins’ opponent yesterday. Also, Susan Rice said she is interested in running against her.

I DO understand the hypocrisy of saying Dr. Ford was credible and then voting Kavenaugh in. It’s called Republicanism. They don’t seem to have moral standards or the ability to know right from wrong. They are drunk with temporary power, but they have emblazoned the Democrats who will take over the House and maybe the Senate, and Kavenaugh as well as Trump had better look out!

Kavanaugh was nominated by a president who lost the popular vote and voted in by senators who received many viewer votes than those who voted no.

I watched a little bit of Dr. Ford’s answers. She was calm, respectful and very brave. She has a lot of courage and I respect her for that. Mr.K on the other hand…..Let me just say he had none of that.

Looking forward to seeing Susan Collins replaced by Susan Rice. Susan Rice has the smarts and the background, she would be an excellent senator.

Henry Wallace said this about American fascists, “They claim to be super-patriots, but they would destroy every liberty guaranteed by the Constitution. They demand free enterprise, but are the spokesmen for monopoly and vested interest. Their final objective toward which all their deceit is directed is to capture political power so that, using the power of the state and the power of the market simultaneously, they may keep the common man in eternal subjection.”

(What we are against. By cheating they will win.)

“Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron’s cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.”-C.S. Lewis

(Gilead will be like that, what the Plutocrats put in as our watch dogs as Keith Olbermann said it.)

Justice Kavanaugh is an oxymoron. And he would always be known as “that” justice – like Clarence Thomas will always be known as “that” justice.

“Ebony and Ivory live together in perfect misogyny”

    THAT IS THEIR LEGACY.

    How sad.

Do you remember when Ford appeared to be surprised during the hearing at learning she had been offered the opportunity to tell her story privately to Senate investigators, staffers from both parties?

Was that an act, or did her lawyers somehow fail to pass that offer along to her?

Dr. Ford needed to tell her story publicly. She had already spoken to the Washington Post, so by that time no one would have violated her privacy. She wanted to be the one to tell her story, not others. The only way to do that was to do exactly what she did.

Let’s see . . . deplorables comment out of context, blaming Pres. Obama for Russian interference, use of standard right-winger bugaboos, name dropping George Soros and Al Sharpton, raising the specter of Hollywood people defiling the WH . . .

    YES! RWNH BINGO! I WIN!

Thanks, @newyorkslim. Could not have done it without you.
