Both women and men get more picky and less accepting as they age. A patient of mine told me that we do not change as we age; we just get more the way we are. VERY SCARY!

My wife is also a leaf warrior. Myself, I like to see them pile up on the ground and then remove them in early December.

Just mow the leaves, helps the soil a lot and is easier than raking.

I used to have a neighbor who told me he didn’t worry about the leaves because they just blow away. I didn’t have nerve enough to tell him that my yard was the “away” that his leaves blew to. Am I a coward or a pacifist?

Cleaned up the leaves out front. Three hours later, you’d never notice. And none of the leaves are from our trees!

I repeat this every fall: They are called leaves because they are to be left alone.

Aha! Janis has put the flannel pj’s away. What could Arlo have done to them?

We’d trade our pine needles for leaves any time. We have a sixty foot high Eastern Pine and its needles come down in inches thick drifts. Very hard to rake and bag.
