Around my place the landscapers use leaf blowers year round. There doesn’t seem to a need for any leaves on the ground. I figure they just use them to let us know they’re on the job.

That’s the new polling place in Dodge City that replaced the old one due to non-existent construction issues.

Because Republican democracy.

Never understand the lack of logic in using a leaf blower. All you do is shift the leaves somewhere else. Now if you use it to suck up the leaves, that makes sense.

Fun, leaf blowers! And the environmentally friendly alternative: the leaf leave alone.

The trouble with blowers is that they just move leaves around, they don’t get rid of them.

You should read up on the history of the leaf blower. The leaf blower was not invented as a leaf blower. It was invented as a chemical spray unit. It was modified by the people who bought it to turn it into a leaf blower. So no one really knows who invented the leaf blower. It just kind of showed up one day. When manufacturers seen the modified units they then started to make the leaf blower that we all know today.

In order to sell any units at that location, he should rename them “tumbleweed blowers”. No leaves within a 500 mile radius!

My leaf blower is my 18 month old grandson’s favorite toy!

Customers have seen plenty of those cartoons showing people dying out in the desert.

Maybe it’s the word “Emporium.” Blower guys shop at warehouses, depots, barns, shacks…..

Let’s hope there are plenty of ant hills around, where prospective customers can be staked out.

I could see forced air replacing the high pressure water of a hydrovac unit in a dry desert area. Maybe he should offer to dig trenches with them.

Why bother calling it a leaf blower? “Unmuffled two-stroke gasoline engine that will spoil your neighbors’ naps.” Its gonna sell like hotcakes.

In downtown Portland Oregon every morning, store employees come out with their leaf blowers and blow dirt, trash, and whatever is on their portion of the sidewalk. Minutes later, the buses drive by blowing it right back on the sidewalk. No one pick up anymore. I imagine all the dust pan manufactures have gone broke.

Looks something like how Wall Drug got started. They were near, but not on, a main road, so they didn’t get any business. Then they started putting up signs for “Free Ice Water”, and the people came. Wasn’t anything the people couldn’t get free anyplace else, but the ads brought them in. Been a couple of years since I’ve been by Wall Drug, but they were still giving out free ice water.

Leaf blowers worst idea. Air pollution, sound pollution and nothing is swept up just blown to someone else.

That’s where I bought mine…out on Nev. Hwy 50 west of Cold Springs station near Alpine road….Bob has great deals….

Easy fix – change sign to “Sand Blower Emporium”.
