Cooler days and cold nights mean beef stew with dumplings, chicken pies, stuffed pork roast, pot roasts, and lots of soups. It is also time to bring out the knitting.
On another note….“…when the gales of November come early..” From “The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald”. I was pregnant with major morning sickness when that was on Top 40 radio. Every morning. EVERY. MORNING. The rhythm is that of a ship on a bounding sea. UP and down. UP and down….And my husband would sit on the edge of the bed to get dressed, making it bounce along with the ship. 40+ years later and I still get urpy when “the gales of November come early.”

Happy to see Louie is enjoying the changing seasons. Personally, though, I’d be thrilled to stay in spring/summer year-round.
Good Evening, Crew.
