getting those horses cost money, Sally, and you’ll have to organize a school fund raiser in order to obtain and maintain those horses

I take it there are 24 kids in her class or 23 plus teacher.

Sally, even at boarding schools that offer riding lessons, you have to take your own horse. And pay for its upkeep, which costs about as much as a kid’s tuition.

People aren’t interested in good suggestions unless it comes from them!

As a former teacher of thirty years, I fully agree with Sally’s final statement.

Sally is really suggesting an advent calendar, isn’t she? So, 24 horses, and you just take down one a day until Christmas, when you invite all the Whos from Whoville and The Grinch, who’ll cut the roast beast, which is really just horse.

You’re in the suburbs, kid; if you lived in the country, call them nature trail rides – you might be able to sucker them into it.

And who would take care of those horses?, you?, HA!

I second your idea, Sally. Sounds good to me.

Even better as an idea for the NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, etc.

Our daughter joined a western style horse program at 10. Besides riding they had to take care of the horses. She learned about personal responsibility and working hard. Nothing like pushing a wheel barrow full of horse manure to align your perspective on life’s challenges and rewards.

Gym class would be cheaper than 24 horses, Sally

The liability insurance would break them.

Cost, big costs.
