That’s how a species is weakened by humans. In nature, the strong survive. With hunting, the strong are shot for trophies.

I hope we survive long enough to see another species hunt us for sport.

I wouldn’t have thought of hunting season as a precursor to mating season, but there you go!

Must have been more people hunting than just the Fink!

Well, in Id, folks have to get their food on their own. Seems I read an epic about a guy who was to be arrested for hunting King John’s deer. Then he got some guys together and formed a hunting co-op and everybody ate better. Dunno where I read it but it made a great movie.

We are thee apex predators on this planet. Meaning nothing will evolve from us to replace us. What Nachikethass is talking about happened. We won. Neanderthals, Kro-Mags, Dennisovans, Etc. They were all replaced by us, you know the APEX Predators. Not to mention , other than birds we are the only living species to grow out of the area from which we came. We are a violent war-like species. Get over it and own it.

Dog/wolves kill the physically weakest by running down their prey and killing the first one to drop from exhaustion. Cats/humans kill the most unwary by lying in wait and killing the first to wander too close without sensing danger. Both hunting styles improve the prey species in different ways.

Dogs can eat deer with mad cow without contracting the disease. If a big cat eats an infected animal, they get the disease – but like humans, they instinctively avoid eating animals that seem sick.

Hunting is deplorable. Why would you kill the very species that are keeping this planet in balance? Homo Sapiens sure as hell aren’t doing it!
