I once met a grackle like that. Was on my way into Waffle House when he perched in a tree by the entrance and went into his routine. I stood there and listened to him perform for about ten minutes.
Grackles don’t make any sound that you and I would recognize as musical, but there was no doubt in my mind that he was sharing information to anyone within earshot who could understand gracklese.
