It may be just me; but doesn’t this incarnation of “Nancy” under the authorship of this “Olivia James” seem a bit more mean spirited in its approach to humor? The original Ernie Bushmiller; which was goofy, innocent, tongue in cheek jokes and visuals (and, yes, dated); and the Gilchrist reboot which dealt with love, nostalgia and the better nature of our human morality were more enjoyable in my opinion. Also; Nancy seems to scowl frequently in this incarnation.

Has Olivia Jaimes been true to herself? I think not, since that’s probably not even her real name!

You know it’s cold outside when Nancy wears a coat, a scarf and jeans. Also, if you don’t want to hear the answer don’t ask the question.

I still drop in and check this out now and then but don’t follow it any more. Change is hard LOL.

Haha…. Sluggo is one smart fellow… he knows how to navigate the “questions” that Nancy poses in a safe fashion.
Sadly though, he still gets Nancy’s wrath! :) Just, perhaps, a little smidgen less wrath than he would have gotten from a more “realistic” answer. :)

Mostly unrelated, but in case anyone is hasn’t heard Alley Oop and Popeye are also getting reboots next year.
