Good way to go hungry, cats!

I’ve never understood these “cat snub” jokes. They’ll eat what I give them or go hungry.

So they won’t eat what Rose offers, but eat stuff out of a trash can?

Strong union.

Leave it for the squirrels. Or even worse, the stray dog.

All of my cats have tried the snub, once. 24 hrs of hunger seems to make the next day’s meal delicious.

Throw it in the garbage and let them starve. They are just like kids of today…..spoiled rotten.

I put food out for a little feral kitty I feed and he never snubs it. He can barely wait to get to it. I don’t give him the cheap stuff though. He gets what I feed my indoor kitties. He will come up on the porch and put his nose against the storm door if I don’t see him fast enough. He’s pretty spoiled, just like my indoor ones. I only wish he would let me catch him so I could get him neutered and chipped. I’ve tried using a humane trap but he seems to know what it is and won’t go near it. (And they say cats are dumb!)

Now THAT I’ve never seen.

When I did have a cat, she played this game. After the second time or so, I just took it away each time. After two days of no food, she finally figured out that being stupid wasn’t all that smart.
