Been there, done that… LAX gates 57 to 55 should be no big deal, but they are actually separated by a HUGE dining and shopping complex. Missed my connection and had to stay the night; at least Delta put me up for the night in a hotel.
Husband wife and baby running the length of San Francisco International from one concourse to another, loaded down with luggage, baby seat, diaper bags, camera bags and lots of crap, for a flight that leaves in 20 minutes….an adventure for sure but we made it.
This was me last week in Houston! Had to walk a mile at the Houston airport. Someone recently told me that there was a “train” but I never heard of it when I was there. No signs of a train, but sure could have used it.
Been there, done that. United Terminal 1C at O’Hare, boarding at Gate 1. Think I’ve got it made, but the pedestrian tunnel dumps you off in the middle, at Gate 19.

Then they will announce a last minute change – to gate 50!

The Law of Receding Terminals: “The distance to your next gate is inversely proportional to the amount of time to your next flight.”

I really should stop flying Delta. Their gates are always the farthest away….

I asked my wife the last time we flew, why is our flight always at the end of the terminal.
