    Envy. It’s not a compliment, it’s envy.

    Old English word rarely used these days. e.g. I got so frickin’ sozzled Saturday night, I was near to being fuddled !!

    @Number Three Today’s strip while it is funny , is a multiple time repeat , Our Hero Mr Andrew Capp being preached to by the Vicar for his wrong doings and taking it as a compliment :o) what’s your take on today’s strip? , how was your day ? as you can see from my avatar today I feel grumpy because our’s was hectic as usual , at 6.30 am Alex came over and took his mum’s blood investigations so that by tomorrow when Connie attends the Diabetes Clinic at the Health Center the results will have arrived , then we continued with hanging up the Christmas decorations and other chores , take care pal BCNU

    One of my friends sent me a tee shirt that said: “People say I have a drinking problem. I drink, I fall down. What’s the problem?”

    Vicar, he didn’t think it was a compliment. He’s thanking you for the wine at communion.

    The vicar should mind his own business. Oh, wait, that is his business.

    You’re wrong, Vicar.

    Andy works very hard… At avoiding work.

    I’m really surprised he hasn’t been threatened with a sanction from the DWP (Department of Work & Pensions) for those who are not in the UK.

    @Afficionado

    From tomorrow it’s going to be busy for me. Tomorrow, I’m doing my volunteering. Friday, I’m at bingo and then going to a Buffet Restaurant. Saturday, I’m at my Auntie’s and Sunday I’m at the Christmas party at the bingo. So it’s not “hectic” busy but more like “fun” busy.

    Best of Luck with Connie’s blood results.

    Here’s a bit of trivia: The Vicar’s name is actually Fred. Andy referred to him by that name in one classic strip, much to the Vicar’s chagrin. (Read it in one of my Andy Capp books.)
