Nate once mentioned he loves watching teachers squirm.. lol

Why? Because, uh . . . Because!

Why?! It’s just a bowl of fruit!

Real reason:

“I hate fruits and my wife keeps on buying them for me to eat so I bring them to school for an easy idea for art class and I get to give the rest to the faculty after class. Win-win situation.”

Actually it’s because it’s cheaper than a life model and doesn’t squirm after an hour or two.

Nuts AND Fruit!

I’m disappointed in the teacher. Even I could come up with an answer, and I learned I can’t draw worth a damn in kindergarten.

Because fruit taste good.

I think they’ll be drawing nuts today.

Is that plastic fruit? Our art teacher used plastic ones instead of real ones.

Poll: Did you have to draw fruit in school?

I remember practicing how to draw circles with shade, and then used that skill to draw an apple.

Whoever drew that oval with the squiggles should drop out of art and never draw again. Not only does it not make sense, but it probably took 7 seconds to draw. Art like that insults people who spend actual time making sensible pictures.

I think the reason Mr. Rosa forgot is because he might have remembered how it was affective at first, but, but the projects kept on repeating over and over, so I guess it slowly faded from his mind away over time

My standard answer was: We discussed this in class; were you listening?

Sounds kind of fruity to me.

I have actually never gotten a featured comment. How do you get it?

So far for the entire week, it has always been all saying and then Mr. Rosa thinks something on the last panel.

Why? Why not!

It was mainly because the Great Masters couldn’t afford a better model when they started…

Why? Because a “still life” doesn’t move around and whine “Are you done yet?”

Hey, still lives are cool!!! Who agrees?!

Mr. Rosa is not good at his profession if he cannot answer that question. Still life was a great movement in the renaissance of art because it had never been seen before. Painting was the only way to make pictures or to present the world visually thats why still life is so amazing. It was the beginning of a era. Of more ideas yet to come.
