I think that was suppose to say “unopened” present and not “unwrapped”, of the latter which it clearly is.

You can learn new words even in the comics. I had to look up “vitrine”, a glass display case.

It was not “unwrapped”; it was “unopened.”

you know, he may be a spoiled brat, and I know that ALMOST got thrown away, but it’s nice to see he knows how special it is and is taking steps to preserve and appreciate it
