Usually when stuck in traffic or at a light, I try and remember the feeling I had when I bought my car. It still runs great, is about to be paid off, (a year early) and I still like driving it. Then my whole attitude changes from rushing to get to where I’m going, to enjoying the drive there.
Always loved the dentist as a kid not much done, but still liked him and only got scared when I got my first cavity at 11 cause my sister told me such terrible things. My dentist said to me I will take care of your sister on her next visit. He had just gotten a kind of filling (he was very well known and helped with dental research) so no drills or anything just had to put it in my cavity area. I was so sad when I left L.I. and couldn’t go to him anymore. Next filling was in my 30’s and it the dentist to my Dean I worked for…but he was just terrible. I know again found a wonderful one and he is fixing my teeth for me. Lots of issues due to my illness.

Neither am I, since I’ve been “threatened” with root canals, permanent tooth extractions, and crowns.

and then more than likely when you leave, that’s when things will even out and you’ll hit all the red lights…

Gee, I have a dental appointment this morning at 11:45, so I will also miss all of the traffic.

When you get there on time, you still have to sit in the waiting room, reading year old magazines, for a 1/2 hour.

Last time I hit traffic that way, I had a snaggy fingernail I wanted to clip. Pray for a red light?

Miss it and they’ll most likely charge you for the missed appointment
