I wonder if it says that pushing the button multiple times doesn’t make the light change faster. :-)

I remember watching a video on YouTube about cutting an avocado and not cutting yourself.

The button is just a placebo.

And yet people still walk out into traffic. Darwin was wrong – we don’t evolve.

I’ve seen coyotes near downtown Tucson stopping to look both ways before crossing the street, which tells me they’re smarter than 10 to 20 percent of the humans trying to cross.

In fact, the only reason they haven’t started pushing the crosswalk button is that, being color-blind, they aren’t aware of the red=stop/green=go system.

I’m guessing that Norm knows about those instructions, because he needed to use them earlier.

Surprisingly, they didn’t mention the voice that says, “Walk sign is on to cross(fill in the blank) Street,” and “Wait. Wait.”

Who doesn’t know how to push a button.

Now if they can get something to signal the person not to be looking at their cell phone while crossing the street!

Has anybody read ay instruction manual lately or stuff on boxes? We have to be told that things coming out of the oven or microwave are hot, we need to plug in power cords for items to work, knives are sharp & can cut etc…. Know I don’t always need them,& if I do I can skip those parts, but I do like to sometimes get a laugh or groan by reading them.

Pushing the button doesn’t make the light change. It just sets a flag to let the controller know someone is waiting. The light will change when the next cycle occurs. Same thing for the loops in the pavement.

With most everyone looking down at their phones, who’d be looking at instructions? Do they even know they’re at a crosswalk?

Looks like he needs instructions on how to tie his shoe laces.

They have those signs just for people like the Drabbles.

The sign on the back says “Push button from the other side”. They had to the leave the “stupid” off.

I like those signals when driving. At very busy intersections and I need to cross the busy road, I ask my passenger to get out and press the button. We can both cross then, and I pick him up on the other side.

I’m surprised the instructions aren’t in a dozen languages.
