Thanks to NHK World TV I discovered that vegetables sliced at an angle do taste better. Not sure why, but maybe it has to do with exposing more surface to the tongue. Or the air. Or something.
Sandwiches cut at an angle taste better to me, guess it’s all in the mind!
Bread and butter is not a sandwich until you put something else in there, fold it or slice it how ever you like.
Bread and peanut butter is a sandwich by itself. No jelly, please.
