Louie’s mother raised him well. Despite all of the rude things you squirrels say about her.

Coming home late one night in the 70’s I stopped at a fast food drive thru. I was on my motorcycle and had my Cairn Terrier with me. He jumped down and went behind the dumpster. When I called him he came back with a kitten in his mouth and very gently laid the kitten on my leg. Duke raised that kitten like it was his own. Cat thought he was a dog. Played fetch, rode the bike with us and even tried to bark. Animals are so wonderful!!!

And that Lab’s heart swelled five times it’s size ;)

Louie, you have a heart of gold. Don’t ever change a bit, buddy.

Louie is the best.

Normally I would celebrate Louie’s big heart…but not today. He should have the dang thing: squirrels ain’t nothing but rats with bushy tails and good PR.

I ‘liked’ every comment here…because Louie will always be our Louie.
