Not too important, but in traditional scrolls the writing does not work like on a scroll printer, but sideways, forming pages. The two handles are to the reader’s left and right, not up and down.
Why “printed out”? What does “printed out” say that a simple “printed” doesn’t say? It’s like the superfluous “at that point in time” rather than the succinct “at that time”. People seem to be suckers for new idioms and phrases which they think are an improvement, but which are really pointless and foolish pleonasms.

Considering how long unicorns live, that scroll probably goes at LEAST as far back as the Mesozoic.

Don’t bother prototyping a scroll printer, they already exist. You might even find a small one making receipts at the nearest grocery store.

That’s enough reading material to last a while, Marigold. Wonder what skeletons will tumble out now?

We used to have scroll printers. Just had to tear off the holey edges.

Alfred Yankovic’s “Amish Paradise” much? (So please don’t point and stare, we’re just technologically [and magically] impaired.)

If unicorns are so advanced, we should be asking for jetpacks.

I’m hoping that somewhere in that scroll, a prankster hacked it and inserted a line about hamsters and elderberries.

I have a roll of paper in my bathroom. And what it prints is about as meaningful as what you get from those genealogy sites.

I thought unicorn printers were all clop-matrix.

I call foul! The site unicornancestors.com said it couldn’t be found.
However, why do I have the sudden urge to create it?
