If this were made in the age of Peanuts, I don’t think Simpson would’ve been allowed to show a little girl being knocked on the head.

Methinks Phoebe doesn’t have a head for this game.

I Googled “purple hat” to see if there was some significance to Marigold’s headwear, but the results from urban dictionary were way the heck out of bounds for a family comic strip. I guess, in this case, a hat is just a hat.

Reminds me of a Bugs Bunny strip where he struck out 3 guys in a row on just one pitch like that.
