Wait… this strip has jokes? I thought it was just about poignant ironies.

Actually, Tony… the 4 to 6 week lead time will still be there,

at least until everything is even more digital, because newspapers are still laid out by people.

They need to keep time open the night before, to lay out the breaking news, so features and comics go to press weeks ahead.

But you could find out whether people laugh…. at least here on GoComics.

You used to stop by every day…. where have you been?

The problem is some people take too many of them seriously, and take banter for arguments, and sarcasm for nastiness.

These are funny characters.

But Tony’s question is, strangely, “Do you draw?”

Why yes, actually, I do, Tony.

Not enough to call myself an artist…. but a bit.

And never never never to an inside straight.

Tony should become a stand up comedian. He’ll get more immediate responses.

Do I draw? I create abstract art on the computer, so…I don’t know if that could be called drawing.

I used to draw.

Some cartoonists read the comments for their own strips to get feedback, and sometimes even provide comments. What’s your point?

Actually, here, the cartoonists do know about the reactions. Several of my favorite cartoonists read the comments and sometimes answer. Skelton, Thompson, and Anderson come to mind.

Do you draw? Not so much. I usually take a shower at least once a week.

But I agree with x-tech’s QOTD. If you came around to read the comments, you’d know that we get the jokes and some even add they’re own.

Try being a caregiver.

I have one old guy that i work with that didn’t tell me that he thought that i was doing a good job until after about four years. That isn’t what you could categorize as instant gratification. :D
