Groundhog day is tomorrow, so can someone help me here? It is something I have always wondered and never seem to understand. They say if the groundhog sees his shadow we have six more weeks of winter, but if he doesn’t spring is here. Shouldn’t it be the other way around? I would think if he saw his shadow it would mean the sun is out and spring is here and if he didn’t it would be due to clouds/overcast weather.
Haha this comic is totally out of sync with this year’s icy weather! And yeah, I wouldn’t use the term “global warming” now. People still seem to look around and say “if global warming is real, why’s it so darn cold?” The answer is pretty simple: a warmer globe causes more extreme weather, on both the hot and cold side of things. But I’d probably say “climate change” now, to avoid any confusion. Scary stuff!

This comic is from 2015, so timing should be off — hmmm… — by a minute or so.

Winter’s short, but the snow never goes away, if you catch my drift.

It is much colder here in the part of Texas this year. Chicago just had it’s lowest high in recorded history. Now what were they saying about warming?

“Global weirding” seems to be the latest buzz word.
