Haints?

Really love Panel 4.

Guess I was wrong in how I imagined Kirby speaking if she uses the term haint.

This h-AIN’T the time to bring up the subject of ghosts, me thinks.;-D

Love that “Oh myyyyyyy, what have I gotten myself into???” look on Chic’s face.

Trust Kirbee to jump in and drown out Wally’s beginning of a calm response with her sincere and overly dramatic warning against “haints”. Waiting to see if Wally will ask the next logical question: “Why do you ask?”

I think Wally’s next question would be to Kirbee. And just where did you see these “haints?”

“Oh, when the Haints, Oh when the Haints, Oh when the Haints go marching in….

I gone through a lot of different emotions over the years reading this strip, but I think this is the first time I’ve spit coffee on my screen.

Well by golly, that’ll just settle his little stomach right down…

The operation of a good universe demands that milk be created when cookies are created.

I guess milk is a cure-all for this problem.

A thought just occurred to me. the statement “drink your milk” in panel four implies that not all mutant animal colonies are as squeamish about consuming their own natural by products as Endtown is.

For what Kirbee was doing when she was transformed, the “Haints” were probably in her head.

Is Kirbee channeling Granny Clampett?

At least Kirbee said I’VE seen, not the detestable I seen.
