Vulcan, Chalkie. Spock is Vulcan.

You know, I’m not sure I ever saw him eat meat.

In today’s funny strip Mr White (Chalkie) never has a clue about what he’s talking about , so Jack the barman wants our Hero Mr Andrew Capp to set him straight about the late lamented Mr Spock being a Vulcan and not vegan , live long and prosper Cappers

Wait until the next trivia night

“He don’t eat meat? It’s ok, I’ll make lamb…”

So that’s two strips today making a play on the word “Vulcan.”

Fans of Hitch Hikers Guide are aware where the Vogan vegans are from.Anyone for a poetry recital and a plate of gruel?

I’m not a big Star Trek fan, but I do have some fondness for the episodes from the original series, mainly because i watched reruns with my father in the 90s.

I could never become vegan.

Hate me all you want. I was brought up to eat meat and I will continue to do so.

Sorry about yesterday. I forgot about GoComics again. If I don’t comment for a day it means I’ve forgot to.

Just letting you know because you are a tiny bit of a worryguts. So am I on the rare occasions when you don’t comment.

You know, I think the 4th panel may have been Andy asking, “Tell him what?”

Could be that he meant “Vegan”, not “vegan”. Would change the whole story. Fascinating.

Spock was definitely a vegetarian; I doubt it was ever established whether he was a vegan.

Vulcan, vegetarian, vegan, virgin. All are true.
