what neat-freak doesn’t have a good imagination?

Trixie wants her royalties.

Elly’s cleaning gene gets in the way of her appreciation of sunbeams. Good thing Elizabeth is there to help her out.

That’s one of the neatest things about young children. They allow you to re-discover the world through their eyes!

The untrained and innocent mind and eyes of a child can see all sorts of wonder everywhere. A shame (most) people lose that.

It makes me think of Lynn’s true inspiration for her young characters and if they’ve kept their imaginations alive like this and their mother’s.

Very neat! I remember the Hi & Lois strips with “Sunbeam”. Is this before or after those?

Lynn’s Comments:

This was a strip that warmed a lot of hearts, and was one that I was particularly proud of. If it weren’t for particles in the air, sunbeams wouldn’t show up. This is one of the rare instances when one can appreciate dust!

I remember watching dust particles dance in the sun beam when I was about 5. My grandmother would sit with me and we would watch them……super memories.

Sometime entertainment is easy. The little things we do keep growing into the big things we accomplish.

Lizzie is just so precious, with that button nose! Even though she and Michael can be brats, they’re good kids.

Imagination, much better than TV, video games, and other high tech stuff where you don’t think, just watch. READ A BOOK

I recall the gleaming dust particles in motion and imagining them the uncounted objects of space.

The best toy is imagination. :-)
