Butterfly catching – Faux Sports Network

There’s only one real winter sport (that involves body contact and blood), hockey. The other real winter sport is curling, more a game of strategy…although I like the fact that the winner has to buy the first round! Basketball, even though invented by a Canadian, was never played outdoors on the ice or in -20° weather.

Never watched Lacrosse and probably never will. We do have a local college women’s team who are very good but all the seats are in the sun. My skin can’t handle the sun.

So I assume that neither the AAF nor the XFL has a franchise in the Philadelphia market.

It looks like only the males watch football in his family. In my extended family more females watch than males.

Don’t know why lacrosse never caught on. It’s fast, involves a ball, and the players are armed with potentially offensive weapons. Kinda like hockey without the puck, ice and skates. And less clothing to protect from potentially bloody injuries. A real plus.
