Two week delay, ya da ya da. You know, Scott had a pretty good idea that the SOTU would have been out this week and that 45 is predictable enough to have made some educated guess – I sure wish Scott would have tried to take on the SOTU.

Of course, two weeks ago, it was probable that 45 would have declared a national emergency by now.

Of course, rumor is a national emergency declaration is still not out of the question. Considering that he’s not getting his wall from Pelosi and Republicans don’t have the stomach for another shutdown.

Oh well. Go figure.

Room for both their beliefs?

Doesn’t always work. NAZIs in Germany wanted to kill all the Jews. Jews did not agree with that policy. So what is Scott Stantis’ “middle ground” “compromise” suggestion? Just kill half the Jews? Are Jews being unreasonable if they don’t even want to let Hitler murder one?

Some religious CONservatives today want to kill the gays, because they interpret an old book of mythology as requiring that. Sorry, but I guess Scott is right. PROgressives not gonna find much common ground there.

TRUMPers wave the flags of Nazis and KKKonfederates. Real Americans crushed those symbols of genocide, racial purity, slavery, ripping children from parents and literal treason (armed rebellion) against the United States in World War II and the Civil War respectively. They did not find “common ground.”

Scott, PLEASE STOP with the false equivalence. You are a better analyst than that.

Whatever point you’re trying to make is lost because of your phony ‘both sides are equally wrong’ implications.

Mr" Stantis. Those who support Trump dont want to control or harm any American. However the socialists do want to control and thereby harm every American. There are always a fraction of a percent of kooks, but they dont represent MAGA Americans. However the Socialist team is nearly 100% in favor of state ownership of private property, rules that limit freedom of work, business, food and energy production and use and through abortion and health care rationing a – life itself.

You should not continue with this phony narrative denigration of Americans who want freedom and secure borders and the false equivalence with socialists and antifa who are the most vile and untrustworthy sorts around.

Wake up. Or you will find yourself like the Venezuelans wondering what happened. Or the cubans, the chinese, the soviets, the ww2 germans and others.

I suppose that is one way to show a party purge.

Forgetting for a moment the crisis du jour, the state of our politics and the trajectory of our political messaging proves that George Orwell was the most clairvoyant author in all of history.
