Yesterday’s Pats victory was a bitter-sweet one for me. I am a Pats and a Saints fan. I had looked forward to my two favorite teams duking it out in this year’s Super Bowl only to see New Orleans robbed of the opportunity by lousy officiating.
There was a certain justice in seeing the Rams get their comeuppance, but it just wasn’t the same.
On a side note, I know a lot of fans griped that the game wasn’t exciting and high scoring, but I thought it was a well-played defensive contest by two brilliantly coached teams.
I’m sure that anyone who took the Pats with the low spread and bet the underline, is a little wealthier this morning.
Get over it Saints fans every team in the league been screwed by the refs even during the playoffs and those fans feel like it cost them a chance for their team to get to the Super Bowl

“Property Brothers” may have been more exciting, but congrats to the Pats. They earned this one.

Most other teams, I might sympathize. However, it happened to the Saints (or as I prefer to call them, “Taints.”)

@ling: I think the game was a classic football game, to be cherished by true football lovers! High scoring & blow outs are boring IMHO,

Isn’t that the definition of insanity?

I know this is off topic, but was that the end of the Blue Knight and those Mead Haters at the hands of the Mountain?
