I hope Batman doesn’t have to go too badly. That costume would be difficult to get off in a hurry. He would be pretty flush by the time he got it off.

But the lcd label is showing up more frequently in comics like these. Showed up at least twice today and in only a dozen comics samples. And Frazz’s conclusion applies how?

And there, my friends, you have the essence of it all: A toilet gag with a word like “esoteric.” What could be more Frazz than that?

I might have an answer: the fact that the cartoonist wasted valuable deadline, swimming, dog-walking or coffee-making time trying to figure out if there was something that could be done with the fact that you can just about combine “sophisticated” with “esoteric” to make “sophomoric.”

THAT is the essence of it all.
