I feel the same way, Heart, but with my LEGO. There’s even a certain LEGO shop in my town’s mall where you can sell your Danish building blocks (Dad learned from the shopkeeper that it has to be fully constructed official sets, not self-made sets).
Kinda like me with video games. Even though it helps you save money by trading at a Gamestop for a new game.
Do they have an attic or basement?
I’m guessing a pile of Karbie, Karbie accessories, Karbie clothes, and one Ben who wears the same thing every day.
She’s growing up—sort of.
I wish my mom had kept my old G.I. Joe gear, that stuff is worth a BIG bundle now.
The Spoonerism line of Ken and Barbie.
SELL, Heart, sell! EBay is your (mom’s) friend. Some fashion dolls can bring big money, and they don’t always have to be that old.
Yes Heart, Sell them either on E-Bay or if there’s a “OLD” Toy store nearby, give the money to your Mom to put away for your College years.
Been through that with my daughter.
She should put them up in Karlie’s Dream Halfway House!
Sigh… Heart IS growing up.
However, her teenage years should prove interesting.
One of my goals is to photograph all my toys and models, then find them new homes.
One of my goals is to photograph all my toys and models – keep them that way – then find them new homes.
Sorry poor kids; better luck next year. Next time, be born rich or lift yourself up by your bootstraps.
