I wonder where the Patterson parents hid those Easter Eggs overnight if Farley didnât get them but Elizabeth could still find them to rehide them in places where Farley could get them.
Unfortunately, chocolate is like poison for dogs and cats. Too much and it will kill them. :( Everyone, please be careful and donât give your animals the opportunity to eat chocolates.
Looks like these were just highly decorated hard boiled eggs.
My Dad would always hide the eggs and Easter baskets for us Kids. With five kids in the house, after a few years, Dad had to get inventive with where he hid the baskets for the older children. One year he hid my oldest sisterâs basket so well it took her a week to find it.
With regards to the eggs, we hid 24, not the normal 12. Dad had to keep track of the locations so we did not have any spoil. One year we were missing one and never found it. Several years later my oldest sister fessed up, she found it early on and ate it to hide the evidence. I think she was getting back against Dad for the Easter basket incident.
Iâm glad we donât do the egg-hunt thing (my parents didnât, either). My husband & I just make pretty baskets with gifts & candy for our girls, complete with chocolate bunnies & crosses. We outdid ourselves this year; we found stuffed versions of each of their favorite Japanese Anime characters!
One year our youngest got up before we had put the baskets out. Thinking quickly, I told her that the Easter Bunny always came to our house late as he knew she never got up early. Go back to bed for a little bit and give him a chance. She bought the story, and when she came back downstairs there just happened to be a rabbit in the yard. She was certain that she saw the Easter Bunny hopping away after dropping off her basket.
Any opportunity to draw Farley at his scruffy best, gave me a thrill. I loved to draw him eating and scratching and burping and being thoroughly, happily disgusting. Not only was he great fun to draw, I had to âget into the spirit of the dogâ in order to draw him well. Being Farley for a few hours was a happy, funny and relaxing timeâŠand I have to say, he really was my favourite character!

Good thing Farley is a comic dog. Chocolate kills dogs. (The toxic component of chocolate is theobromine, which dogs do not metabolize like us.)

Something similar here, I hid eggs around the house. The cat found one and batted it all over the place, I heard her at it during the night.
