I could never get comfortable enough to read in bed. And my air would choke off if I dozed like that.

3 paragraphs would be a record for me…..;)

As I have said before, growing old is Hell.

Most of the books I read are at least 500 pages

I’m glad I don’t fall asleep that quick or I would never get through them

I like to read in bed before going asleep, although my sleep timer is a little longer, 3 to 5 pages. Takes me months to finish a book. Unless I’m really into the story, then my sleep timer is 3 to 5 chapters.

As I don’t read in bed, this is not a problem for me. I fall asleep reading in a comfy chair.

About once a month I’m asleep when my wife comes to bed. I wake up, she falls asleep within two minutes, and I take 15-20 to get back to z-land.

25-40 pages in bed, lights out, set the timer on the clock for 15 minutes of music. I normally miss the end of the first song whether it’s Derek Trucks or Gordon Lightfoot.

That’s sweet.

Janis, I know of a couple of “alarms” that could interfere with the timer… ☺

I read in bed. Right after sex.

A bygone era, reading in bed…if there was a book with three paragraphs that could knock somebody out, it’d be a best-seller!

This has never been my problem. Stopping reading and going to sleep is my problem. But after enough years of marriage I know to turn out the lights when my wife does(She reads almost as much as I do).

I don’t do anything in bed but sleep. Too uncomfortable to read and watch tv.

Must a volume of the tax code.

The only thing I read in bed is my wife – and that’s using the Braille method…
