As Eddie sees his own reflection, the conclusion dawns – it is the combo of two hydro and one oxy.

All a figment of (someone’s) imagination. Don’t say didn’t tell you.

Maybe he had scribbled something profane on a bottom corner of the boat in a fit of pique and Mother Nature took exception.

Just a man and a cat; stranded with nothing to eat. A sad ending; but at least the cat survived for another few weeks.

Oh, I can’t wait to see who he blames. Not the boat, and I’m sure he’s not going to blame himself (despite the 3rd panel) because that would be like gasp growing up!

Oh well. The news reported the Buttercup was tweeting up a storm the night before. Cap’n Eddie just didn’t read them.

So far, I’m having trouble seeing any political commentary in this story arc. I interpreted this thread’s “It was Obama’s fault” start as a comment on that, and sure enough, people took it seriously. But the arc’s not over; Captain Eddie may still end up blaming some random politician for his stranding on that island. ;-)
