Yay! I thought they were the forgotten characters.

“Mary Lou and Gene”… doesn’t sound quite right. I’ve noticed in many families that a couple is always referred to as “Family Member” and their SO… so it would be more likely Janis called them “Gene and Mary Lou”… ;-)

We have about 40 jars of various jellies downstairs, rarely eat jelly.

I’m still trying to find a perfect grape in Australia to make grape jelly and jam sigh Thank goodness I finally found a supplier here of Welches!

FINALLY!!! We finally know that Gene is still alive! Took long enough.

Mary Lou and Gene ARE still with us!!

I’ve got an idea: How ’bout the next time we focus on the kids, we let Arlo and Janis take the schooner out. We can have occasional vignettes about sailing while focusing on the kid plot.
