Goats are weird looking. It’s easy to see how they get used as depictions of evil, etc. Not their fault, of course.

Alice is going to have a totally different reaction to the goats. She’ll command them to harass Petey.

When our children were little some friends and we took the kids to the local zoo, stopping, of course, at the petting zoo. We were in the pen, commiserating with those of four-footed persuasion, when I felt a tug at my coat. There was a little goat, kid or mini, not sure which, nibbling at the corner like it was the treat he’d been waiting for. CUTE as could be, and not easily put off. One of my favorite memories (obviously, since I am now a grandma!)

Were they serving goat cheese for lunch? Petey is such a picky eater! 8^)

Interesting that in panel #1, Alice is drawn with a see through nose. I’ve never seen a mistake like that before. Forgotten detail, or is Alice messing with us on April fools day?
