Hmmmmm, the platform George W. ran. Never could understand why Gore didn’t ask him what Republicans have against peace and prosperity.

Oh well, Trump may bring the economy into a more Republican line once Moore and Caine get on the Federal Reserve.

Sounds like exactly what 43 and 45 both did, each after losing the popular vote but getting selected for president, anyway!

We are at peace? Funny, I remember we got involved in the current middle east fiasco back in 2003, and haven’t left yet. People are still there fighting and dying. No, we are NOT at peace.

We aren’t at peace. The others were true of Obama, and also included a falling deficit. Will the Republicans ever learn that running giant deficits gives the economy a short-lived false surge, and then it all crashes? Or do they know that, and just don’t care?

Yeah, just ignore Trump’s policy decision to cripple American farming and automobile industries and leaving us unprecedented debt.

We’re not at peace. Iraq, Afghanistan, Trade Wars with our allies and “national emergencies” on our southern border. Granted the economy and unemployment are doing well.

The only time my wages go up, is because of Cost of Living. COL is tied to inflation and my biggest raises have been since trump has been in office. What does that tell you?

The economy is only “doing well” because Trump is gutting regulations designed to protect the environment. Sorry, I want someone with creative, thoughtful ideas about how to create jobs without destroying the planet.

The economy is doing well for those already doing well, not so much for the rest of us; unemployment is at record lows because people are working two and three jobs each just to stay afloat in this “record economy;” and we are at peace except for Afghanistan, Venezuela, Palestine…several US cities and so on. Sigh…

The economy is doing well for those already doing well, not so much for the rest of us; unemployment is at record lows because people are working two, even three jobs just to stay afloat in this ‘good economy;" wages are going up—here and there, not everywhere—because big businesses are being shamed or litigated into raising rates; and we’re at peace except for Afghanistan, (and soon Venezuela, possibly Palestine), and all our “off-shore” drone strikes… see the problem?
