The Curious Case of Jimbo Gumbo.

In Cul De Sac today, Petey’s mom tries the exact same tactic w/ him.

Unlike Jimbo here, it just makes Petey want to chew his arm off.

That may be the best cartoon tribute to Mother’s Day I’ve seen.

Ok, this is getting weird. I have a large collection of bears – stuffed, figurines, etc. In Arlo and Janis a couple of weeks ago they were at their son’s place and slept in his step-daughter’s room with her bear Waldo. I posted that I have a bear named Waldo, but he prefers to be called Wally as the others at school spend all their time staring at him and saying “Where’s Waldo”. Now there is a Wally bear in a cartoon?

I’m noticing that sometimes when I want to “like” a comment made from years previously, it negates the number instead of adding to it. Such as the above by “erniejpdx”. It did have 18 likes on it. And yet, I have liked other older comments with no problem. ???

We haven’t heard from Mother Gumbo for years!
