Losing memories are sometimes a good thing, especially for Earl! All those time Opal got him good are in the FILES OF NO RETURN!

The older I get, the better I was.

There are times when I feel like amnesia would be a blessing.

I remember everything. Even the times that make me cringe. I would love to forget the cringies.

Regrets, I’ve had a few

But then again, too few to mention

I did what I had to do

And saw it through without exemption

I planned each charted course

Each careful step along the byway

And more, much more than this

I did it my way

Of all the things in life I’ve lost, I miss my mind the most.

Memory is the first to go and but I can’t remember what’s 2nd!

My father told me in his old age that it’s better to regret the things you did rather than the opportunities you didn’t take. Thanks, Dad.

Last night on the News there was an item about restoring seniors memory loss with electric shock. Hubby and I agreed that we’re quite happy with the memory loss we have, thank you.

My ONE regret is sledding eight years ago! Now I’m disabled on Medicare, Medicaid and SSD. Well, my personality is 100x better, so shmaybe not . . .
