This reminds me of the old Pink Panther shorts when the panther was using the vacuum cleaner, and it literally sucked up everything in sight. The only difference here is that Horace didn’t try to look up the hose, hence getting sucked up himself before the vacuum cleaner vacuumed itself and disappeared.
The RCAF emblem is an Albat-agle, with one wing shorter than the other so it flies in ever diminishing circles until it flies up its own … and disappears. Not to be confused with the side-hill gouger.
Reminds me of the Kilkinney cats chase each other round and round till they both vanish, and the tigers who chase each other till they turn into butter. Both old stories one from Ireland the other India.
No one understands that this MAKES NO FOURTH-WALLING SENSE. Not for snakes, not for vacuums. If you attempt to put something completely inside itself, it will end up nothing but stuck. I don’t even see how you could draw that conclusion! Even if you take the simple yet wrong assumption that it just deletes whatever is inside it, the extrapolation to zero is physically impossible. Take that, Richard Buckley and Eric Carle! (The Greedy Python) Take that, Frank Woodley! (Noodlenut) Take that, Andy Griffiths! (The Bad Book) Take THAT, my own subconscious! (my own dreams) Mega Orb Physicist signing off! (slams down keyboard) God, that felt good to write.

I, too, saw ‘Yellow Submarine’ – Vacuum Man was apparently John Lennon’s idea.
