I just stick to “Jeopardy!”, the only “reality” show we watch, CBS on Sunday and Tuesday nights and PBS. I haven’t watched a soap opera since “The Secret Storm” (remember kids?).
They think that is what the buying public – 25 to 45 – watch. They are too busy doing other things to watch TV. So the kids sat in front of TV to keep them entertained – and the old folks – who don’t get out much, are left with these lame shows and fall asleep in front of the TV or just leave it off. So much for demographics. I tape about 4 prime time shows and watch them several weeks later – when I can run through all the ads.
Wife can’t do without the daily-“fix” of it. As for me? Only-time I switch it on is when she leaves for her evening-shift job on the weekdays.
I kinda like my “me-time” with a DVD-that I randomly pick, without even looking at the storage-tower. Or, maybe partake of Sirius FM Oldies, 60’s-thru-80’s. (If I want weather? I’ll open a window. And unless it’s me, making the news? I could not care-less, anymore…!)☺

“Reality celebrities” are neither. There are some wonderful programs on television. None of them are “reality” shows.

Wait, is this the first instance in history of pluggers being depicted as snobs?

This Plugger & her Plugger roommate usually watch “Geek TV” – PBS, BBC, History, Science, Discovery. Oh, and Animal Planet – gotta get our cute critter fix!

Here, here. The so called reality, once upon a time called the plastic person.
