I sympathize with Earl, sometimes I can spend an hour just waiting for the “get up” to kick in. “Go” takes longer.

When somebody asks me if I need anything, I say “I need to earn a living without having to work.”

Diet soda = chemical soup!

Four or five those he’ll have to get and go.

My get up and go still works. Just a lot slower than it used to (and the transmission jerks).

Literally no energy (calories) and hormone stimulation. He clearly doesn’t want any getup and go that comes in a bottle.
