    Re: commercial products that “fix” physical things: I was watching a commercial for some pro-biota something or other, another of the long line of “proactive” health items. I got to wondering, if you buy stuff to proactively assist natural functions that might go wrong, why don’t you put casts on your arms and legs, a cervical collar on your neck, braces on your already-straight teeth, etc., etc. I shudder to think how people are screwing up perfectly good bodies putting money in non-sensical stuff.
