Oh, Lawrence, NOW Michael gives a darn that his lizard breath sistwerp is in his room.

Mike is painting himself into a corner with his anger.

Elizabeth is still egging Michael on, but Lawrence has realized that Michael has crossed the line to insanity and he begins to try to talk him down.

You are doomed Elizabeth when Michael gets in the house and then when Mom gets home, the two of you will be grounded for the summer.

Hard to know how I’d handle this as Elly. Both are wrong but Michael is more wrong. I wouldn’t let him in as long as he was insulting me and now he’s gotten so angry that if she did let him in he’d probably beat her up. But she’s wrong to be in his room. If I were Liz I’d go to the living room and watch TV til the parents got home.

I know what comes next and it’s so idiotic

The world as he knows it is over.

She’s laying it on thick! In fact, for Elizabeth this might be worth whatever punishment she gets!

The back door is probably unlocked…

Lynn’s notes: I loved doing these drawings. Not only were they fun to do, they brought back some very vivid memories.

i wish Elizabeth had a smart phone so she could record Michael. Mom will ground him forever for bothering the whole neighborhood shouting like that. Oh and insulting his sister too. Does he think he will ever get a car acting like this?

Mike is getting out of control and this could lead to real violence against his sister. This could turn into a real family crisis. Kids at this age don’t have the ability to really understand the consequences of their actions.

Yes Elizabeth, revenge is sweet but it can turn sour if you take it too far.
